- Can I customize my package?
Yes! You can add to your package items from the ala carte menu or if there is something included in your package you don't want we can simply take it out (fees remain the same). You also have more color choices to choose from than the photo beside the package in most cases. Or, you can mix and match from other packages to make your wedding customized and try to keep the fee for that package the same. We are here to work with you to make sure your wedding is exactly what you want.
- My package includes the bridal bouquet and boutonniere, what does that mean?
It means your package gives you the option of a fresh flower or silk flower bridal bouquet and grooms boutonniere ONLY. They are ordered through our florist, Winn-Dixie Floral Manager Miss D. She can be contacted at 850-585-3688. The bridal bouquet is not to exceed $100 and thereafter is the brides responsibilty for addtional payment to Miss D. All other floral needs can be found on our ala carte page and ordered through Miss D. and picked up the same time as pickup of bridal bouquet and boutonniere.
- If I am from out of state do I need a Florida License to get married?
Yes! We can only marry and notarize licenses issued by the state of Florida. If you have an out of state license the wedding will be deemed as a "mock ceremony". Refer to our License Information page for additional information. Or, phone the office at 850-650-9260 for assistance on these questions or any other you may find you need answers to. We are here to make your wedding as stress-free as possible for you, your fiance, and all loved ones.
- How long do I have until my full wedding amount needs to be paid?
After your deposit has been received, the remaining balance on your wedding is to be paid no later than 21 days prior to your wedding. If the remaining balance has not been received by the 21st day before your wedding we reserve the right not to perform your wedding and/or make that date and time available for another wedding.
Absolutely! We do have our own vows that we provide you with, but if you would like to write your own we welcome it! Just be sure to send us a copy of your vows ahead of time so our officiate will be better prepared in performing your ceremony.
- Who will be doing the photography?
All our photography is done freelance with eight years of experience in beach wedding photography! Also, all photos are placed on a disc for you to take home and make as many copies as you want, whereas other photographers do not allow that. Note: We reserve the right to place your photos on our website.
You also have the opportunity to get the photos of your wedding before leaving our area, if photos can be picked up in 3 days (they will be presented to you in a gift bag inside a wedding photo album at the office) Or, they will be mailed to your mailing address Priority Mail with a tracking number.
NOTE: AS of January 2009, Okaloosa County made any beach vendor apply for a "Beach Vendors Permit".
This included the "beach vendors permit" (a yearly fee), a state license, a county license, a company to be
insured and had to include Okaloosa County on their insurance policy.
We are also licensed with the Northwest Florida's Better Business Bureau with an A+ Rating
PLEASE ...be sure your beach wedding company or anybody involved in performing a service on the beaches of Okaloosa County, which include Fort Walton Beach, FL and Destin, FL do have the "Beach Vendors Permit" or your wedding may not exist on your special day! Fantasy Beach Weddings has all requirements to perform your beach wedding at the location of your desire! We also know of more private beach locations that are not mentioned by any other vendor as they are more private and secluded. YOUR CHOICE Don't forget we view all locations with our bride and groom before the wedding day to make sure it is all that you want it to be!!!
